TOP® Copper-coated Quartz FiberTOP® Copper-coated Quartz Fiber

TOPRAYS copper-alloy-coated silica fiber represents the state of the art for extreme-condition applications, including very high temperature, high vacuum and demanding operating environments. Designed for situations where conventional fiber solutions fall short, it combines excellent optical stability with strong thermal and mechanical performance, making it ideal for industrial, scientific and aerospace applications.
These copper-alloy-coated fibers retain all the key advantages of conventional silica/silica fiber. In addition, compared with polymer-coated fiber the metal coating significantly improves mechanical strength and durability and enhances resistance to fatigue and mechanical stress.
Depending on the UV or NIR silica core selected, the optical transmission range spans 220 to 2400 nm, supporting a wide range of optical and spectroscopic applications. Notably, these fibers maintain reliable performance across an extreme temperature range from as low as -270 °C up to continuous operation at 600 °C, and withstand humidity of up to 100% without compromising optical or mechanical integrity.
